Durante mi mes de viaje a Exmouth (Australia), creé una serie de obras que se suman al esfuerzo por incluir el Golfo de Exmouth dentro del área protegida por la UNESCO de Ningaloo Reef y el Parque Nacional Cape Range. El proyecto se inspira en los tres episodios documentales de Tim Winton titulados Ningaloo Nyinggulu.
Una colección de prints de las principales criaturas marinas que habitan el Golfo de Exmouth. Sobre algunas, añadí en caligrafía algunos rasgos de las especies y su estado de conservación, con el fin de generar conciencia sobre la importancia de preservar este lugar, uno de los motores ecológicos y el corazón vivo de la región de Ningaloo.

During my month in Exmouth, I created a series of works subscribing to the aim of including the Gulf of Exmouth within the UNESCO-protected area of Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park. The project was inspired by Tim Winton’s three documentary episodes titled Ningaloo Nyinggulu.
A collection of prints of the main creatures of the Gulf of Exmouth. On top of the prints, calligraphic notes describe certain features of the species and their conservation status, in an attempt to raise awareness of the significance of preserving this place as one of the engines and the living heart of the Ningaloo region.
